Susan Clower Allen – President (a.k.a – Head Coach)

Susan’s start in coaching begin while in college and playing basketball for The University of Tennessee. As one of Pat Summitt’s players, she learned the value of teamwork. After appearing in 4 Final-Fours, with 2 National Runner-ups, a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Academic Psychology, Susan joined Hewlett-Packard’s Global Response Center. While at HP, she was part of several successful teams and found time to complete her M.S. in Computer Science, researching search strings and usability with AT&T’s prestigious lab organizations. In 1993, Susan left the comfort of corporate life and begin building the KAT team. Still engaged, you’ll find Susan coaching or assisting on KAT’s IT projects.

Jennifer Venable Austin – Vice-President (a.k.a. Assistant Coach & Athletic Director)

Jennifer’s team experience begin prior to college, being featured in the prestigious East Tennessee Dance Ensemble. Taking those skills into college and finally onto the big stage in New York City, Jennifer always valued her team. After returning back to East Tennessee, Jennifer founded Arts In Motion and still provides Roane County with the largest seasonal Nutcracker in Tennessee. Always a team player, Jennifer leads KAT’s team by providing a non-traditional look at IT, stressing communication, communication, communication. Jennifer’s balance to traditional IT teams helps KAT be MORE than an IT organization.
